Wedding portraits

the image is a painting of a young man and woman sat close together on a red arm chair. they are both dressed in complementary purple, she a summer dress, he a waistcoat over shirt and trousers. the man has dark skin and short afro hair and his hand occupies the foreground of the image where he is fiddling with his wedding ring, his attention is on the open Book of the woman's lap. she sits slightly higher than him, holding book open with hand on which her wedding ring can also be clearly seen. she looking up over the mans head as if momentarily distracted by something out of frame. the seen is one of tender closeness, with a soft romantic light and pallet.
